About CincyMUNC

What is CincyMUNC?
CincyMUNC is a three-day Model United Nations competitive high school conference hosted by the University of Cincinnati Model United Nations team. It is held annually on the University of Cincinnati campus and gives participating delegates a chance to exercise their leadership, public speaking, negotiating, writing, and critical thinking skills. Delegates may represent a fictional character, historical figure, or a country in committee, depending on the type and topic of the committee. They are expected to research their position thoroughly and accurately represent their position all throughout the weekend. We are so excited to be hosting the fourth iteration of this conference and cannot wait to see all the creativity brought by delegates this year.
Why choose CincyMUNC?
At CincyMUNC, we strive to create a conference that is enjoyable and accessible for beginner delegates while remaining competitive for seasoned delegates. Our committee chairs are always willing to take a moment to explain to delegates how to improve and give them the opportunity to grow in their Model UN skills. We work hard to keep our committees small enough so that chairs are able to give individual feedback and give each delegate the attention they deserve throughout the weekend. Additionally, our team was ranked #26 in the nation this past semester, meaning that our chairs have valuable insight and experience to give delegates.
Attending our conference also gives delegates the chance to explore our beautiful campus and wonderful city!
